Since then, a lot of improvements have been made on SAORI looms so that everyone, incl. children, aged people and people with disabilities can easily enjoy weaving. Weaver-friendly design In conventional hand weaving, weavers must first warp the loom. This can be a difficult process. It often discourages beginners and requires teachers to expend much time and energy coaching people. By contrast, the SAORI loom greatly simplifies the process of warping. SAORI looms have *only 2 harnesses* while other conventional looms have 4 or 8. We also have ready-made warp threads that permit weavers to skip some of the warping process entirely and start weaving easily. Compact design SAORI looms are very compact compared with other traditional looms. We have a foldable loom (SAORI SX60) which folds for transport and storage. In folding this loom, you do not need to remove the harnesses or warps.	SAORI SX60
